Gemstone Miners of Namibia

I was commissioned by the GIZ of Namibia to document the small scale gem mining on Farm Neu Schwaben in Namibia where a group of miners armed with basic tool break rock to find the gemstones buried deep below this is back breaking work and often without any success.
